Seville in september, what to pack?

Hi visiting seville in september ...not sure what I will need to pack for myself and family...I read that temperatures can go up to 32 C and then I read somewhere else they can be around 23 C, needless to say im a bit confused...should I be thinking shorts...t shirts...light summery tops and trousers...sandals...caridigans for the evening...will I need a jacket?
