Is it legal to hit your boss across the head for not changing your nighshift schedule?

ive been working nighshift for only a a month and i already feel the little lines forming under my eyes i always look sleepy and tired and i hate NIGHTSHIFT why is their alot of people on yahoo! answers who LOVE nightshift? Just because you have a whole free day doesent mean thats a gooed enough reason to LOVE nighshift...my boss doesent want to change my schedule he doesent even want to rotate atleast all the employees i get stuck with nighshfit ALL THE TIME. I just agreed to work nighshift 3 nights and now they think im available for it every damn day i suppose!!...my boss says theirs nothing more available which is not true because new ppl started and they get dayshift! should i be glad? that atleast i got a job and atleast i dont have to work with people ? and atleast i just have to sit on a computer for 8 hours and cry on the internet????
