No, you are not the Step-Mom from hell . But you have to remember she is trying to get use to you, & she probably isnt used to her mom telling her to go away, and isnt use to being yelled at. Maybe you're kids are used to it and thats why your daughter left you alone. But your step-daughter probably isnt , and she was trying to spend time with you when you were making the cake, and was really hurt when you yelled at her, over something she didnt intend to do. Just remember your step-kids arent used to your methods of parenting, just give them time. && your husband is probably mostly mad because his daughter cried, just explain that you didnt want her to cry, you were just annoyed about the cake falling, and apoligize to the step-daughter .
